Lumina Feed Calculator is developed by Lumina Logic Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how the information is used, and how users remain in control of their data.
1. Information Handled on Your Device
Lumina Feed Calculator is designed as an offline-first application. You may enter livestock names, species, breed, gender, weight, dates, origin, notes, photos, production goals, feed calculations, custom formulas, and feeding schedules.
The app also stores your language preference and uses the device time zone to schedule local feeding reminders. These features are optional, except for information required to complete a specific form.
2. Collection, Transmission, and Sharing
The app does not have an account system. Livestock information, photos, formulas, goals, schedules, calculation history, and language preference are stored locally on your device and are not sent to Lumina Logic Studio or to a remote server by the app.
The app does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, contacts, microphone access, location access, or background data collection. Lumina Logic Studio does not sell, rent, or share the locally stored information.
3. Permissions and Their Purposes
Photo and camera access is requested only when you choose to add or change a livestock photo.
Notification permission is requested only when you use feeding schedules. Notifications are generated locally on your device to remind you about the schedules you create.
File access is used only when you explicitly choose to import or export a backup or CSV file.
You can deny any permission. If permission is denied, the related feature may not be available, while other app features can continue to work.
4. External Services and User-Initiated Sharing
The app may open your web browser to display the Lumina Logic Studio website or open an email application when you choose to contact support.
The app may also use the operating system share function when you choose to share an exported backup or CSV file. External services receive information only as a result of your action and process it under their own privacy policies.
The app does not automatically upload backup files or livestock data.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, clear the app data, or uninstall the app.
You can delete livestock records, production goals, calculations, custom formulas, and feeding schedules from the app.
Exported backup and CSV files remain in the location you select. You are responsible for deleting those files when they are no longer needed.
Because the app does not maintain user accounts or a server-side copy of your data, Lumina Logic Studio does not hold a server profile that requires deletion.
6. Data Security
The app uses local application storage and the protections provided by the operating system. No storage method is completely secure.
You should protect your device, use an appropriate device lock, and treat exported backup files as sensitive. Do not enter unnecessary personal, confidential, or sensitive information in livestock notes.
7. Children’s Privacy
Lumina Feed Calculator is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app, its data practices, or applicable legal requirements change. The latest version will be made available on the Lumina Logic Studio website and, where appropriate, inside the app.
