Lumina Logic (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides MathIQ: Math & Logic Quiz as a free mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.
1. Information We Collect
MathIQ does not require an account or sign-in. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with Lumina Logic or third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The app stores the following information locally on your device so its features can work:
- player name and profile settings;
- quiz progress, scores, stars, XP, streaks, and session history; and
- onboarding and app preferences.
This information is used only to provide gameplay, save progress, display statistics, and remember your preferences. It is not uploaded to Lumina Logic servers.
Because the information is stored locally, the operating system or device backup service may handle app data according to your device settings. Lumina Logic does not control or receive those operating-system backup processes.
2. Data Sharing
MathIQ does not share locally stored player information with Lumina Logic, advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
The app includes user-initiated actions that open an external service:
- If you open a support, privacy policy, terms, or Google Play link, the link is handled by an external browser or the relevant app.
- If you choose to share the app, Android’s system share sheet or an installed sharing app handles the action.
Those external services may process information under their own privacy policies. MathIQ does not receive the content of those external interactions.
3. Permissions and Device Access
MathIQ does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or files. The app uses local app storage for its gameplay data and preferences.
4. Children’s Privacy
MathIQ does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Parents and guardians should supervise app use and review the device’s privacy and parental-control settings where appropriate.
5. Your Choices and Data Deletion
You can:
- change your player name in the Profile screen;
- reset in-app progress using the Reset Progress option;
- clear the app’s data in your device settings; or
- uninstall the app.
These actions may permanently remove locally stored progress and settings. MathIQ does not maintain an online account or server-side profile that requires a separate deletion request.
6. Security
MathIQ is designed to keep gameplay data in local app storage. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security for information handled by your device or external services.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or its data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated when appropriate.
